My work style is always quite cute and often with peculiar touches, and I kept this in the designs I painted for both themes.
For theme 1, I took my experience of visiting science museums as inspiration; the fossils of ancient sea creatures and seaweeds are the things I focused on mainly. The color combination is a selection of blue and green tones with a bit of neon pink and yellow. As for theme 2, the quilted bags made by my mothers are my inspiration; plants and dragonflies are the main references, and the earthy and pastel colors were used to create a warming vintage vibe.
All the designs were hand painted with watercolor first and then modified with digital tools for color alteration and adding final touches.
