Solstudio Textile Group, the Russian Union of Entrepreneurs of Textile and Light Industry SOYUZLEGPROM and INTERFABRIC expo announce the eighth International competition for textile designers Textile Design Talents.
In 2024, designers from 8 countries took part in the competition, and the jury evaluated more than 2400 works of participants.
The competition is supported by the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade.
The main goal of the Textile Design Talents competition is to support talented textile designers, attract the attention of the professional community to them and help them realize their abilities in the industry.
Alexandra Kaloshina, founder of Solstudio Textile Group, member of the jury, about the contest task: “In solving this problem we welcome the use of image synthesis tools. We are interested in artificial intelligence because it does not replace the artist, but accelerates the development cycle and increases our efficiency. We are looking forward for both ordinary drawings and new works, combining machine and human genius.”
The works will be evaluated by a professional jury, consisting of leading Russian specialists in the fashion and textile design industry.
